About the Journal
The Libyan Journal of Applied and Technical Sciences is a peer-reviewed, semiannual scientific journal published in June and December by the College of Engineering Technology – Janzour. The journal publishes original research in the fields of applied sciences, engineering, and technology. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by two or more qualified reviewers.
The journal strictly adheres to recognized academic standards in scientific evaluation, publication ethics, and documentation. Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished, and must not have been previously published in other journals or conference proceedings. The peer-review process is conducted in accordance with principles of academic integrity, objectivity, neutrality, and fairness, in compliance with the journal’s publication policies.
The journal follows an Open Access policy, whereby all published articles are made freely and permanently available online for reading and downloading without any financial or legal barriers, in order to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge at both national and international levels.
The editorial and review board includes a distinguished group of senior professors and experts from Libyan universities, colleges, and higher institutes, recognized for their academic teaching, research contributions, consultancy activities in public and private sectors, and publications in reputable scientific journals.
The publication fee without assigning a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is 400 Libyan Dinars, equivalent to 65 USD.
If a DOI is assigned to the published article, the publication fee is 600 Libyan Dinars, equivalent to 100 USD.

We sincerely thank our researchers, editors, and technical support team for their unwavering dedication to raising the journal’s standards, achieving scientific quality benchmarks, archiving the journal, and securing accreditation from the Arab Reference Citation and Impact Factor (ARCIF) for 2025, resulting in a Q4 ranking. Special appreciation goes to the technical team for developing the journal’s website in line with the National Program for Scientific Journal Development (DOLJ), ensuring wider accessibility and enhancing the dissemination of knowledge.
